Replacement for System Sensor L-Series Speaker and Strobes Available
Dear GenX Security Customers with System Sensor L-Series Speakers & Strobes:
If we have installed the System Sensor L-Series Speaker and Speaker Strobes at your location and you have not received a call from us yet, please contact us as soon as possible for a possible replacement of certain date and model numbers. On September 12, 2017, System Sensor headquarters announced that an operational issue has been detected with this equipment on certain model numbers, as follows:
January 16, 2017 (7013) to August 8, 2017 (7082)
* 7013 defined as 7 = 2017, 01 = January, 3 = 3rd week of the month
* 7082 defined as 7 = 2017, 08 = August, 2 = 2nd week of the month
System Sensor replacements of this equipment will be of enhanced and stronger design. Please contact us, GenX Security, if your equipment qualifies for free replacement, today!

Summary of issue: Operational issues with L-Series Speaker and Speaker Strobes Level of urgency: High – Immediate Action Required Model Numbers: See below Manufactured date range: January 16, 2017 (7013) to August 8, 2017 (7082) 7013 defined as 7 = 2017, 01 = January, 3 = 3rd week of the month 7082 defined as 7 = 2017, 08 = August, 2 = 2nd week of the month System Sensor has identified a potential issue with our Audible Visible (AV) notification appliances, wall and ceiling mounted Speakers and Speaker Strobes. Customer complaints and subsequent investigation identified operational and aesthetic issues with the product with operational issues centered around the quality of electrical connection. All L-Series Speaker and Speaker Strobes products within the above mentioned date code range need to be replaced and returned. Products affected by this bulletin need to be returned to the point of purchase for replacement or credit. Please contact your point of purchase to coordinate the product return.
