NOW HIRING:

FIRE ALARM INSTALL TECHNICIAN

Job Description for Fire Alarm Installer Technician

Calling all low voltage technicians who specialize in fire alarm installation!  We are hiring mid-level to experienced commercial fire alarm installer technicians, starting with a minimum of three years under your belt!  If you're looking for growth in your career and a company that rewards for great performance, where you'll work on a variety of projects, then GenX Security is the place for you.  Or, if you're a more experienced fire alarm technician with your NICET and you're ready to work for a company that will notice and value your expertise, then GenX Security is the place for you, too.

Are you currently working for an electrical company or an electrical contractor as a fire alarm installer and tired of long hot days of heavy lifting and running 10,000 feet of pipe non-stop for up to months on the same job?  Have you wondered what it would be like to work for the "parts and smarts" guys you see on the job site, like GenX Security, instead?  Do you feel like you're missing out on your potential because you can never see the full results of your hard work?  Do you feel capable of more but where you are now has limited opportunities?

Maybe it's time to take the next step in your career where you can earn better pay, better quality of work-life, and opportunities for real career growth!

Whether you've been a fire alarm technician at another integrator or with an electrical company, we've got a place for you.  Here at GenX Security you'll do both new construction and retrofit, which gives you a break from the dust and heat and variety in your work environment.  You'll also get the job satisfaction of being able to see your excellent work and attention to detail from start to the finished product, not just a piece of the job.  With GenX Security you'll get to see the whole picture.  And, you'll also have the opportunity to learn to do more and expand your career.  For example, in addition to building circuits and installing them, putting in devices, trimming, and testing as a fire alarm installation specialist with GenX Security, if you've got an aptitude for computers but have never been given the chance to learn programming and you'd like to, then you can learn it here.  If we see you've got what it takes, we will train you and certify you to program!  And, even though with us you will be a fire alarm specialist first and foremost, you will get to expand your horizons here on a variety of low voltage work and learn about cameras, access control, and more.

In short, if you've got the drive, determination, and positive attitude combined with the skills then there is no limit to where you can go with GenX Security.  Apply today, and see where the future can take you with the next generation of interactive security and fire technology!
